Privacy policy

almostcart is a simulated shopping and reflection app. It does not place orders, deliver products, or process payments for catalogue items.

Information you provide

We process your email address, display name, adult eligibility information, selected country, gender selection and profile picture choice. We also store content you create, including simulated carts and released orders, wishlist and Buy List entries, Tiny Swap activity, subscription tracking entries, friend connections and friend invite activity.

Purchases

If you buy almostcart Pro, your device’s application store (such as Apple App Store or Google Play) processes payment information. RevenueCat processes purchase identifiers and entitlement status. almostcart does not receive your full card or bank details.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate you, synchronize your data, operate the features you request, restore purchases, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information, and the current version contains no advertising SDK.

Service providers

We engage trusted service providers to deliver specific technical services on our behalf. Supabase supports account authentication, secure data storage and server-side functions; Cloudflare Pages provides website hosting and content delivery; and RevenueCat, together with the applicable app store, supports purchase validation and entitlement management. These providers process information as needed to provide their services and are subject to their applicable privacy and security obligations.

Friends and visibility

Friend features share only the comparison information shown in the app. Do not share an invite code publicly. You may remove a friendship from the Friends screen.

Retention and deletion

Your account data remains until you delete your account or until it is no longer reasonably required to provide or secure the service. Some minimal records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, legal compliance, refunds or purchase reconciliation.

Request account deletion. Deleting an account is permanent.

Security and choices

Mobile authentication tokens are stored using device protected storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Access to cloud records is restricted by Supabase Row Level Security. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Audience

almostcart is intended only for adults aged 18 and over.

Material policy changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
